Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
We are all aging, and currently aging-in-place. We have options for our future - we can be proactive and design and modify our homes to meet our eventual needs or anticipated eventual needs, or we can be reactive and wait until something forces us to make these changes or move to an assisted living situation. Below are some projects specifically done for the first reasons.
Q: Do you have stock plans to purchase?
A: No, I don’t believe a stock plan meets the full needs of 2 people. I customize each plan to meet the homeowner's lifestyle.

Q: Does custom home design mean it is expensive?
A: Although we are not the cheapest design firm, we are not the most expensive either. But the word custom refers to how we customize every plan to meet your needs.

Q: How long does the design process take?
A: Your home is likely the biggest investment you’ll make, besides your health, and I do not want to rush huge decisions. Every project is different, but I encourage you to take time and review plans, and I encourage your feedback and comments. When we talk, we can dive more into typical timelines based on your scope.

Q: What if we just need minimum plans to build? Is this something you do?
A: Although we are not a minimum design firm, and our plans are comprehensive, we can - and do base sets of buildable plans frequently - our minimum is not industry minimum.

Q: Is there any project that’s too small of a scope?
A: There is no project too small, we want everyone to have a home that meets all of their needs.
